Age 11+ Classes – Class Schedule

At Dream Big Gymnastics, we believe it’s never too late to start—or keep growing! Our classes for age 11+ and up are designed for older kids and teens who are ready to build strength, flexibility, and confidence through gymnastics, tumbling, cheer, and more. Whether your child is just beginning or continuing their athletic journey, these classes are designed to meet them where they are and help them dream bigger every day.

AGE 7+ Recreational Level 1 – Gymnastics

Our Recreational Level 1 Gymnastics class is designed for boys and girls ages 7 and up who are just beginning or continuing to build their foundational gymnastics skills. Students will learn at their own pace while practicing across all major gymnastics events.

​

Skills introduced include:

​

  • Floor: Cartwheels, handstands, forward and backward rolls, bridge kickovers

  • Bars: Casting and pullovers

  • Beam & Vault: Balance, basic mounts, and safe landings

 

This class provides a fun, supportive atmosphere where students can improve coordination, strength, and confidence while developing essential gymnastics techniques.

AGE 11+ Gymnastics for Teens

Our Gymnastics for Teens class is specially designed for students ages 11 and up who want to learn gymnastics in a supportive, age-appropriate environment—without being divided by skill level. This coach-led class offers a welcoming space for beginners and those returning to the sport, focusing on building confidence, strength, and foundational skills at a comfortable pace.

Students will build foundational skills such as:

​

  • Floor: Cartwheels, handstands, forward and backward rolls, bridge kickovers

  • Bars: Casting and pullovers

  • Beam: Basic jumps, turns, and balance work

 

Whether trying gymnastics for the first time or looking to stay active in a new way, this class helps teens gain strength, flexibility, and confidence in a positive, age-appropriate setting.

AGE 6+ Beginner Tumbling – Tumbling

Our Beginner Tumbling class is designed for kids age 6 and up who want to develop strong tumbling skills on the floor. This high-energy class focuses on the fundamental techniques of floor exercise, helping students build strength, coordination, and confidence.

Skills taught include:

​

  • Cartwheels and handstands

  • Forward and backward rolls

  • Round-offs and back walkovers

 

Whether your child is new to tumbling or looking to sharpen their technique for cheer, dance, or gymnastics, this class provides the perfect foundation in a fun and supportive environment.

AGE 6+ Cheer Fundamentals - Cheerleading

Our Cheer Fundamentals class is the perfect starting point for aspiring cheerleaders ages 6 and up. This beginner-friendly class introduces the essential building blocks of both cheer technique and tumbling fundamentals needed for success in cheerleading.

Students will learn:

​

  • Tumbling: Cartwheels, rolls, handstands, and other foundational skills

  • Cheer Technique: Arm positions, cheer motions, jumps, and beginner stunts

  • Choreography: Basic routines that combine movement, rhythm, and spirit

 

Led by experienced coaches, this class helps young athletes develop confidence, coordination, teamwork, and performance skills—all while having fun and learning to cheer loud and proud!

AGE 6+ Dance & Tumble Combo

Our Dance & Tumble Combo class is perfect for kids age 6 and up who love to move, groove, and flip! This fun and energetic class blends the creativity of beginner dance with the athletic foundations of entry-level tumbling.

Students will explore:

​

  • Dance: Basic technique, multiple dance styles (such as ballet, jazz, and hip-hop), and beginner choreography

  • Tumbling: Cartwheels, rolls, handstands, and back walkovers

 

This combo class helps students develop rhythm, coordination, strength, and self-expression—all in one exciting session!

AGE 6+ Fitness for All Sports – Strength Class

Our Fitness for All Sports class is designed for athletes age 6 and up who want to boost their performance across any sport. This high-energy, full-body workout focuses on building strength, flexibility, agility, and endurance in a fun and motivating environment.

Athletes will train:

​

  • Core strength and balance

  • Speed, power, and coordination

  • Flexibility and injury prevention

  • Sport-specific conditioning drills

 

Whether your child plays soccer, does gymnastics, cheers, dances, or just loves to move, this class will enhance their athletic abilities and keep them active and strong!
