Age 7-11 Classes – Class Schedule

At Dream Big Gymnastics, we offer dynamic classes for kids ages 7–11 that focus on building strength, flexibility, confidence, and technique in a fun and supportive environment. Whether your child is new to gymnastics or looking to grow in tumbling, cheer, dance, or athletic conditioning, we have a program that meets them where they are—and helps them soar!

AGE 7–11 Recreational Level 1 – Gymnastics

Our Recreational Level 1 Gymnastics class is ideal for girls ages 7–11 who are new to the sport or looking to build on foundational skills.

 

Students will receive coaching across the core events while developing strength and coordination.

Skills include:

  • Floor: Cartwheels, handstands, rolls, bridge kickovers

  • Bars: Casting and pullovers

  • Beam: Basic turns, walks, and jumps

 

This class emphasizes technique, discipline, and fun as kids grow stronger and more confident in their abilities.

AGE 6+ Beginner Tumbling – Tumbling

This floor-only tumbling class is great for athletes age 6 and up who want to focus on mastering their tumbling skills. Whether they’re training for gymnastics, cheer, or dance, students will work on:

  • Cartwheels, handstands, forward & backward rolls

  • Round-offs and back walkovers

  • Strength, balance, and body control

 

A great way to develop agility, coordination, and confidence through movement

AGE 6+ Cheer Fundamentals – Cheerleading

Our Cheer Fundamentals class introduces the exciting world of cheerleading, combining beginner cheer techniques with essential tumbling skills.

Students will learn:

  • Tumbling: Cartwheels, rolls, handstands, and back walkovers

  • Cheer Technique: Arm positions, jumps, stunts, and beginner choreography

 

This class helps students develop performance skills, teamwork, and spirit—preparing them for school or competitive cheer squads.

AGE 6+ Dance & Tumble Combo

This fun-filled combo class blends beginner dance with foundational tumbling, making it perfect for creative and energetic kids.

In each session, students will explore:

  • Dance: Basic steps in jazz, ballet, or hip-hop styles and beginner choreography

  • Tumbling: Cartwheels, rolls, handstands, and back walkovers

 

The class encourages creativity, rhythm, flexibility, and strength in a supportive environment.

AGE 6+ Fitness for All Sports – Strength Class

This Strength & Agility class is designed to enhance athletic performance for any sport. Perfect for gymnasts, dancers, cheerleaders, and young athletes looking to boost their fitness.

Focus areas include:

  • Strength training and flexibility

  • Speed, agility, and coordination drills

  • Power development and injury prevention

 

A great cross-training opportunity for active kids who want to stay strong, mobile, and ready for action!
